This never before released document of Salt Lake City proto-punk rock from 1980 is an action packed gem.
"Too Loud for the Silver Cloud" is an undiscovered classic. The Boards fused 60's Garage-Punk into the late 70's Punk explosion without blinking an eye and this disc is a testament to their greatness. They should have been famous but true to their asthetic they cared more about the music than fame which is apparent on every track.

The Boards "Too Loud for the Silver Cloud" is enhanced with multimedia and includes a music video cut from live footage filmed in 1980. It is playable on most computers.
From The Salt Lake Weekly Top 50 CDs in 2002:

"This fossil (from between 1979-'82, predating even The Stench) from seminal Salt Lake Garage Punks The Boards spent 22 years in singer Monroe's car trunk until Soundco Records gave a reissue. If you like your Punk ala The Germs and The Nerves, pick it up."
